What a quad safari actually is
A quad safari is a guided ride on an ATV: a four-wheeled machine with handlebars, a twist throttle and knobbly tyres built for dirt rather than tarmac. You sit on it the way you sit on a motorbike, steer with your body as much as with your hands, and follow a guide in a line.
None of it happens on a public road. The route runs on farm tracks, forest paths and riverbeds in the countryside behind the Belek hotel strip, a short drive inland from the golf courses. There the landscape turns into pine and eucalyptus, irrigation channels, gravel and low hills climbing toward the Taurus Mountains.
It is an active outdoor activity rather than a scenic drive, and it is honest to say so up front. You will get dusty. Depending on the weather and the state of the ground you may also get muddy and wet at the shallow river sections — which is exactly why the clothing advice further down matters.
Quad or buggy: two machines, two ways to ride
Both machines run the same route on the same programme, so the decision is about how you want to experience it. A quad is ridden — one person at the controls, one passenger behind, body weight doing part of the work in the corners. A buggy is driven: side-by-side seats, a steering wheel, a frame around you and belts.
The quad is our flagship and the cheaper of the two. The buggy costs a little more per person because it is a bigger, two-seater machine, and it tends to suit couples, families and anyone who would rather be strapped in than perched on top. Neither is harder than the other here — same terrain, same guide, same briefing.

The route: river sections, forest tracks and open terrain
The Belek backcountry loop strings three kinds of ground together. There are shallow river sections where the track crosses running water and the wheels throw up spray. There are forest trails where the surface is loose and dusty and lined with pine. And there is open off-road terrain where the track widens and you find your rhythm.
Mud and water depend entirely on conditions. After rain the ruts are real and the puddles are deep; in the dry heat the same stretch is a dust bowl. We never promise a set amount of either, because the ground does what the weather tells it to. What is constant is the mix of surfaces and a rest stop in the middle where you can get off, stretch and take photographs.

Short Tour or Long Tour, and what each costs
Beyond the choice of machine, one decision remains: how long you want to be riding. The Short Tour gives you roughly 1.5 to 2 hours in the saddle — enough for the river sections, the forest and a stretch of open ground. The Long Tour extends that to roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, with more time on the open sections.
Both lengths include the same transfer, the same briefing and the same practice loop, so the difference in price is simply riding time. Who drives and who rides along
Driving is decided by skill. Everyone gets the same safety briefing and a practice loop on easy ground before the route starts, and the guide watches how each person handles the machine. Whoever can control it comfortably drives; whoever would rather not rides along as a passenger and sees the same route from the second seat.
Our operator rules for the quad are firm: drivers must be at least 16 and should carry ID, and passengers ride from the age of eight. The buggy is handled on the same skill-based basis, with younger passengers accepted when an adult is with them. Local rules can change, so if you have a question about your particular group, ask us on WhatsApp before you book and we will answer for your exact case.
The person at the wheel pays the driver price and anyone riding along pays half of it. How the day is shaped: about 4 to 4.5 hours door to door
Count on roughly 4 to 4.5 hours from the moment you are collected to the moment you are back at your hotel. That figure covers the transfer both ways, the safety briefing, the practice loop, the ride with its rest stop, and the few minutes at the end for handing back helmets and cleaning up.
Exact timings vary with where your hotel sits on the transfer run, so your pickup time is confirmed after booking rather than published here as a fixed clock time. Plan the day around the tour instead of squeezing it between two other commitments — you will want a shower afterwards, and the dust is part of the deal.

The price covers the ride and everything needed to do it safely. What it does not cover is the small stuff you may choose on the spot, and we would rather list that plainly than surprise anyone at the base.

What to wear and what to bring
Dress for dust and for the possibility of mud and water. Old or comfortable clothes are the right answer — nothing you would be upset to see stained. Closed shoes are essential: flip-flops and hotel slippers slide off the footrests and pedals and are not suitable for an off-road machine.
Helmets and dust masks are handed out at the base, so there is nothing technical for you to bring. Goggles deserve their own note: they are genuinely useful on a dry, dusty day, they are sold at the base as an optional extra, and they are never part of the tour price.
- Old or comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dusty.
- Closed shoes — no flip-flops, no slippers.
- A change of clothes for the ride back, and a towel if you like.
- Sunscreen, water and sunglasses.
- A bandana or scarf if you are sensitive to dust, on top of the mask we provide.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for the Belek and Kadriye area. If you are staying somewhere else — Boğazkent, Serik, Lara or central Antalya — message us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84 before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, instead of promising a transfer we cannot run.
Booking here is a free reservation. There is no prepayment and no card is taken online; you pay in euros on the day of the tour. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, so you can hold the day that suits you and still change your mind if the weather or your plans turn.
