The one difference that actually decides it
Every other comparison between a quad safari and a jeep safari is detail. The decision sits in one question: do you want your hands on the controls, or do you want to be driven? On our quad safari and buggy safari from Belek you steer, you brake and you choose your own line through the ruts, with a guide leading the group. On a jeep safari a driver handles the vehicle for you, and your job is to hold on and look around.
That difference changes everything downstream: how tired you are at the end, how dusty you get, who in your party can take part, and what a per person price even means.
- Quad or buggy: you drive. One machine per driver, plus one seat for someone riding along.
- Jeep safari: you are a passenger. The group sits together while somebody else drives.
- Same landscape, a completely different day: active concentration against sitting back and watching.
What the quad and buggy safari from Belek involves
We run two off-road products from Belek, and each is bookable as a Short Tour or a Long Tour. The quad safari is the flagship: EUR 30 per driver for the short version with 1.5-2 hours of riding, and EUR 38 per driver for the long version at 2.5-3 hours. The buggy safari puts you inside a two-seater with a steering wheel and pedals, at EUR 35 per driver short and EUR 43 per driver long.
Anyone who comes along without driving pays half the driver price, and infants aged 0-3 join free. One passenger rides with each driver. Whichever variant you choose, the program takes roughly 4-4.5 hours door to door: pickup, transfer, safety briefing, a practice loop, the ride and the transfer back. Exact timings depend on where your hotel sits, and your pickup is confirmed after booking.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for the Belek and Kadriye area. Staying further out, in Boğazkent, Serik, Lara or Antalya city? Message us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84 and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

What a jeep safari is, and why we do not sell one here
A jeep safari, as the phrase is used along this coast, is a guided trip in a four-wheel-drive vehicle with a driver at the wheel. Guests share seating in an open or canopied back while the vehicle follows tracks and mountain roads, stopping for photographs. Nobody in the group drives, and for a great many travellers that is exactly the appeal.
We would rather be straight about our own catalogue: there is no jeep safari in it from Belek. Jeep safaris are run across the wider Antalya region by other operators, and our own sister site sidejeepsafari.net covers them from the Side area, which is why you will find no jeep price and no jeep booking button anywhere on this site. What we operate from Belek is the driving version, and that is what this page can genuinely help you book.
Take the wheel if this sounds like you
The driving format suits a particular kind of traveller.
Never ridden one before? The briefing and the practice loop exist for exactly that reason, and our page for beginners walks through both of them before you ever reach the route. Driving on our tours is skill-based: whoever handles the machine safely drives it, and anyone who would rather not rides along at half price. We describe our own operator rules only, and local rules can change.
- You want the machine to answer to you: throttle, brakes, your own line through the ruts.
- You are 16 or over and can bring ID, which is what we ask of every quad driver.
- You do not mind concentrating for a couple of hours, because the fun is in the doing.
- You want the dust, the shallow river crossings and the forest track under your own wheels rather than through a window.
Take the seat if this sounds like you
Being driven is not a lesser choice, just a different day. In these cases a jeep tour makes more sense than either of our machines.
There is one group we steer away from both formats. Our tours are not recommended for pregnant guests or for anyone with back or neck problems, because off-road ground is uneven by definition, and a jeep crossing the same terrain is not gentle either. If that describes you, speak to your doctor and look at a calmer excursion instead.
- You want to sit back, take photographs and let someone else deal with the terrain.
- You are travelling with children too young to ride along on a quad.
- You would rather stay reasonably clean and shaded than come back dusty from head to toe.
- Controls hold no interest for you, and concentrating would spoil the afternoon.
Mixed groups do not all have to want the same thing
This is where the driving format quietly beats the assumption that everyone must agree. Every machine carries a driver and one passenger, so inside the same booking one of you can drive and the other rides along for half the price. Our page on age rules has the detail: quad drivers must be 16 or over and carry ID, quad passengers ride from age 8, and on the buggy driving is skill-based, with passengers able to be younger when an adult is with them.
In practice couples often split the difference: one drives, the other rides, and they compare notes on the way back. A nervous partner is usually happier in the buggy, sitting side by side where you can talk. If you are weighing our two machines against each other rather than against a jeep, the quad or buggy comparison covers seating, price and who can ride along in detail.
Dust, comfort and effort, compared honestly
The route combines shallow river crossings, forest trails and open off-road terrain, with plenty of dust and mud where conditions allow. We never promise mud, because it depends on the weather and the ground. On a quad or buggy you are in all of it, which is the point. A helmet and a protective dust mask are included; protective goggles are not included, but they are sold on site as an optional extra.
Jeep passengers get dusty on unpaved tracks too, just far less, and they sit still while it happens. Driving costs you something physical: arms, shoulders and hands do the work, and most people feel the long tour by the end, which is a good reason to start short if you are unsure. Come in old clothes and closed shoes, since flip-flops and slippers are not suitable, and bring a change of clothes, sunscreen and water.
What the price actually buys
The driver price covers the experienced guide and the safety briefing, hotel transfer from the Belek and Kadriye area, the machine with fuel, a helmet and a protective dust mask, and liability insurance. It does not cover the protective goggles sold on site, photo and video service, drinks and snacks at the rest stop, gratuities or personal expenses. If you would rather not share a quad with anyone there is a single-quad supplement; no amount is published, so ask on WhatsApp first.
Comparing a per driver price with a jeep seat is not like with like: one buys a machine and the responsibility that comes with it, the other buys a seat in somebody else's vehicle. Two people sharing a quad pay EUR 45 together on the short tour and EUR 57 on the long one; sharing a buggy, the same pair pays EUR 52.50 and EUR 64.50. Nothing is taken online, you pay in euros on the tour day, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
Deciding in about a minute
Ask yourself what you will want to say afterwards. If the sentence starts with the words I drove, book the quad or the buggy and take the short tour if the whole thing is new to you. If it starts with we saw, a jeep tour somewhere in the wider region is the honest recommendation, and we will not pretend otherwise to sell you a machine.
We work in English, German, Russian and Polish, and booking takes a minute: pick the tour, pick Short or Long, and tell us how many drivers and passengers. Anything less obvious, from hotels outside the pickup area to a machine of your own, is one WhatsApp message away on +90 536 603 75 84.
