That is exactly why guests there look for one properly active day. None of it happens in the resort: the trails are in the Aspendos area, around the Köprüçay.
So the transfer question first, because it is the one thing you want settled before anything else. Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off from Boğazkent is included in the price. There is no transfer surcharge, no separate quote and nothing to haggle over: the price you see for the quad or the buggy is the price that collects you at your hotel, brings you to the base and takes you back afterwards.
That inclusion covers this whole coast, not one resort strip — Belek and Kadriye, Boğazkent, Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı, and eastwards through Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. What a safari day looks like from Boğazkent
The whole programme takes roughly four to four and a half hours door to door, and that already holds the drive to the base, the safety briefing, the compulsory test ride, the safari itself and the drive back. It shifts with where you are staying, so treat it as a planning figure, not a stopwatch.
Beyond the area average below, you will not find a departure time on this page: the hour depends on where your hotel falls on that day's collection run, and yours is confirmed with you after you book.
The sequence is simple. You are collected from your hotel and driven inland to our base in the Aspendos area, on the land along the Köprüçay river — Boğazkent is where we collect you, not where you ride — then fitted with a helmet and given the briefing. Every driver then takes the test ride. Then comes the route: shallow river crossings, dusty forest tracks and open off-road terrain, with mud when conditions allow, because we promise you the ground and never the weather. There is a rest stop where drinks and snacks are bought separately.
Pickup times from Boğazkent: two sessions a day
We run two departures a day and Boğazkent is on both of them. On average we collect from hotels in Boğazkent at around 09:35 for the morning session and around 14:35 for the afternoon one. Those figures are averages rather than a promise to the minute — the vehicle works its way along the coast, so traffic and the length of the run move everybody's time a little.
Your own time is confirmed after you book, once we know which hotel to come to. If you are choosing between the two: the morning session has you back for a late lunch, and the afternoon one leaves the whole morning free for the beach.
Quad or two-seater buggy: the choice is the seat, not the route
Both machines leave the same base and run the same route and programme, so the choice is really about how you want to sit. On the quad safari every driver has a machine of their own, with one passenger riding behind, and it is the more physical of the two.
The buggy safari puts you in a two-seater instead, side by side under a roll frame rather than one behind the other. Couples take it because they can talk over the engine; parents take it because a younger child can sit next to them rather than clinging on behind.
Groups often split across the two, and nothing about the transfer, the route or the timing changes when they do; the machine and the Short or Long option are chosen as you book.
The four prices from Boğazkent, and the half-price passenger seat
Prices are per person and identical wherever along this coast you are staying, because the transfer is inside the price rather than added to it. On the quad, the person at the wheel pays €30 for the Short Tour, which is 1.5 to 2 hours of riding, or €38 for the Long Tour, which is 2.5 to 3 hours. In the buggy the driver pays €35 and €43 for the same two options.
Anyone riding along instead of driving pays exactly half the driver price: €15 or €19 on the quad, €17.50 or €21.50 in the buggy. That half fare is the only reduction on the list: there is no separate child rate, and nobody rides without paying, at any age — the person who steers pays full, the person sharing their machine pays half, and everyone who comes on the transfer and the safari is counted, including a guest who only means to watch. Nothing is paid online: you reserve free, no card is taken, and you settle in euros at the base on the day. If you want a machine to yourself, say so when you book — a single-machine supplement exists and we quote it directly.

Who can drive: 16 and over, ID, and the test ride that decides it
You do not need a driving licence for either machine, and the reason belongs beside the claim: the route is a private off-road course rather than a public road, so it is not judged the way road driving is. Drivers must be 16 or over, which includes 16- and 17-year-olds, and whoever takes the wheel should carry ID as an age check.
What actually decides who drives is the compulsory test ride every driver takes at the base before the tour starts. Handle the machine confidently there and you take it out for the day. Anyone who does not, or who would simply rather not, rides as a passenger at half the driver price, with no pressure from us. It is a genuine check rather than a formality.
There is no lower age limit on the passenger seat, but we do not recommend the safari for a child under four: a small child can find it hard to hold on safely on a moving machine. Above that age a child rides more securely beside an adult in the buggy than behind one on the quad, which is why families with mixed ages usually choose the buggy — and either way that child is a paying passenger. The safari is not recommended for pregnant guests or anyone with back or neck problems, because the ground really is uneven.
What is included, and what you buy at the base
Included in the price: your round-trip hotel transfer from Boğazkent, an experienced guide and the full safety briefing, the machine with its fuel, a helmet, and liability insurance for the activity. The transfer is a fixed inclusion here, exactly as it is for a guest staying in Belek, Side or Antalya.
Bought separately: protective goggles, sold on site as an optional extra and never part of the price; photo and video; drinks and snacks at the rest stop; gratuities; and the single-machine supplement. No meal is part of the programme.

Count the whole party when you budget, though: a family of four pays four fares, two drivers and two passengers, because everybody who joins the transfer and the safari is paid for.
