Quad Safari from Konyaaltı: Prices, Pickup and How to Book

Yes, guests staying in Konyaaltı ride with us, and the booking works exactly as it does from a Belek hotel — transfer included. The riding itself is not in the city and not in Belek: the course sits inland in the Aspendos area, on the natural ground beside the Köprüçay river, and we drive you out there and back. Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off from Konyaaltı is in the price, with no transfer surcharge, because the included transfer runs along the whole coast we serve: Belek and Kadriye across to Lara, Kundu, Antalya and Konyaaltı, and eastwards along the Side coast. A quad costs €30 per driver on the short tour and €38 on the long one; a buggy is €35 and €43, and anyone riding along as a passenger pays exactly half. All we need from you is your hotel name and date; your pickup time is confirmed after booking, hotel by hotel.

Pickup from Konyaaltı is included in the price

Start with the part that decides whether a tour is worth booking from a city-side hotel. The hotel transfer included in the price of every quad safari and buggy safari covers the whole coast we serve, and Konyaaltı is on that list. You are collected at your hotel and brought back to it afterwards, and there is no transfer surcharge: the price you see for the quad or the buggy is the price for the whole day, the ride out to the course and back included.

The regions covered are Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent, then Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı, and eastwards Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. If your hotel is somewhere else entirely, message us and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, rather than promising something we have not checked. The one thing this page will not print is your own hotel's pickup time: beyond the area average below, that is confirmed after booking, hotel by hotel, once the day's collection route is set. Send your hotel name, date and group size on WhatsApp and you get it in writing. Until the tour day your reservation costs you nothing, and no card details are taken online.

  • Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off from Konyaaltı: included in the price.
  • No transfer surcharge and nothing extra to settle for the ride out and back.
  • Your pickup time is confirmed after booking, hotel by hotel — never printed in advance.
  • Hotel somewhere else entirely? Message us and we will tell you honestly.
  • You pay on the tour day, in euros — the reservation itself is free.

What the day looks like from a Konyaaltı hotel

You wait at your hotel entrance at the time confirmed with you after booking, and the run heads east along the coast, past the city and the resort strip, before turning inland towards the foot of the Taurus Mountains. The riding ground is in the Aspendos area, on the open land that follows the Köprüçay river — the Eurymedon of the classical maps — and that is where the whole safari happens. This page gives you no clock time and no driving time for the transfer, because both depend on exactly where you are staying and on the day's collection route. You get the real times from us in writing.

At the base the order never changes. The guide gives the safety briefing and explains the controls and the hand signals used on the trail. Then every driver takes the compulsory test ride, a short supervised loop. Only after that does the safari begin: shallow crossings where the trail meets the Köprüçay, dusty forest tracks, open terrain and muddy sections when conditions allow, with a stop along the way to rest and take photos. Riding is 1.5 to 2 hours on the short tour and 2.5 to 3 hours on the long one.

Counting the transfer, the briefing, the test ride, the ride and the return, the programme runs around 4 to 4.5 hours door to door, and exact timings vary with hotel location. Treat that as the shape of the day rather than a timetable — from Konyaaltı the transfer is part of the price at both ends, and your own collection time comes back to you after booking.

Pickup times from Konyaaltı: two sessions a day

We run two departures a day and Konyaaltı is on both of them. On average we collect from hotels in Konyaaltı at around 08:00 for the morning session and around 13:00 for the afternoon one. Those figures are averages rather than a promise to the minute — the vehicle works its way along the coast, so traffic and the length of the run move everybody's time a little.

Your own time is confirmed after you book, once we know which hotel to come to. If you are choosing between the two: the morning session has you back for a late lunch, and the afternoon one leaves the whole morning free for the beach.

Two machines, four prices, and half price for the passenger

There are two products, each bookable as a short or a long tour, so four prices in total. The quad is a single machine you drive yourself. The buggy is a two-seater with a roll cage, the usual choice for couples and for pairs where only one of them wants the wheel. Prices are per person and are identical wherever you are staying.

The passenger fare is exactly half the driver fare, and that half fare is the only reduction there is: everyone who takes part is counted, whatever their age, and there is no separate child price. Whoever is at the wheel pays the full price and whoever rides along pays half. Each machine seats a driver plus one passenger, so a family of four books two machines and pays four fares. The same prices appear on our price page and do not change by region.

  • Quad safari, short tour (1.5–2 h riding): €30 per driver, €15 per passenger
  • Quad safari, long tour (2.5–3 h riding): €38 per driver, €19 per passenger
  • Buggy safari, short tour (1.5–2 h riding): €35 per driver, €17.50 per passenger
  • Buggy safari, long tour (2.5–3 h riding): €43 per driver, €21.50 per passenger
  • Every person on the trip pays one of those four fares — driver or passenger, at any age

Who can drive: no licence, 16 and over, and a compulsory test ride

You do not need a driving licence for this tour, and the reason belongs beside the claim: the route is a private off-road course, not a public road, so it is not judged the way road driving is. Drivers must be 16 or over and should carry ID — and the ID is an age check, never a licence check.

What decides who drives is the compulsory test ride. Every driver takes it before the tour starts, with the guide watching, and it is a real check rather than a formality. Whoever completes it successfully drives their own machine. Whoever does not, or simply decides they would rather not, rides along as a passenger at half price. That is why beginners are comfortable here: nobody ends up on a machine they did not want.

There is no age floor on the passenger seat, but we do not recommend the tour for children under four: a small child finds it hard to hold on safely for a whole ride, and if one comes along anyway the passenger fare applies to them exactly as it does to an adult. The tour is also not recommended for pregnant guests or for anyone with back or neck problems, because the ground is genuinely uneven.

What is included, and what you buy on site

The price covers the activity itself and the transfer to it. From a Konyaaltı hotel that transfer is included in both directions, so what is left to think about is only the short list of extras below.

And these are deliberately not in the price:

  • Experienced guide and full safety briefing
  • Round-trip hotel transfer, included from Konyaaltı and the rest of the coast list
  • The machine itself, fuelled and ready: quad or two-seater buggy
  • Helmet
  • Liability insurance for the activity
  • Not included: protective goggles, sold on site as an optional extra
  • Not included: photo and video service
  • Not included: drinks and snacks at the rest stop
  • Not included: tips for the guide and the team
  • Not included: a supplement if you ask for a machine to yourself

Why guests staying in Konyaaltı book this

Konyaaltı is the western beach district of Antalya: a city-side shore with the mountains rising straight behind it, and a mix of city hotels and apartments rather than one continuous resort strip. Guests who choose it usually want both halves of a holiday — the beach and the city on one side, something to actually do on the other. Half a day off-road fills that gap — out in the Aspendos countryside, where the landscape stops looking like a promenade and starts looking like a river valley.

It also suits the way groups from here are put together: friends and families with very different levels of confidence about driving. Because the test ride settles that on the spot and the passenger seat costs half, nobody has to decide in advance whether they are the adventurous one. The briefing assumes no experience at all, and the guide rides with the group.

What to wear, what to bring, and how cancellation works

Dress for dust. Old or comfortable clothes are the right call, because dust is certain and mud is likely when conditions allow it. Closed shoes matter — flip-flops and hotel slippers do not belong on the pedals. Protective goggles are sold at the base if you want more than the dust mask.

Booking is free, no card is taken online, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure. We answer in English, German, Russian and Polish, so you can ask in your own language before you commit.

  • Old or comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dusty or muddy
  • Closed shoes — no flip-flops, no slippers
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen and a change of clothes for the way back
  • ID for drivers, as an age check
  • Cash in euros for the day, plus whatever you want at the rest stop

Booking from Konyaaltı, step by step

Choose the machine and the length first: quad or buggy, short or long. Then the date, and how many of you are driving and how many are riding along, because that is what sets the price. Then give us your hotel in Konyaaltı, so the driver knows where to find you — the transfer is already in the price, and your pickup time comes back to you after booking. Booking from Konyaaltı is no different from booking in Belek.

If you would rather ask before you book, WhatsApp is the fastest way: +90 536 603 75 84. Send your hotel, your date and your group, and you get a straight answer about your hotel pickup, what the day costs in total and which tour length suits you.

Pickup times

We run two sessions a day. Below are the average pickup times for each resort area — your own time is confirmed after you book.

Area Morning session Afternoon session
Konyaaltı 08:00 13:00
Lara 08:30 13:30
Kundu 08:45 13:45
Kadriye 09:00 14:00
Belek 09:20 14:20
Boğazkent 09:35 14:35

Times are averages and can shift with traffic and the length of the pickup run. Staying somewhere else along the coast? Message us with your hotel and we will confirm your own time once you have booked.

From the Belek area the drive out to the riding ground is around 35–40 minutes, depending on where exactly you are staying. The safari itself runs in the Aspendos countryside, by the Köprüçay river — not in Belek.

Questions

Frequently asked

I am staying in Konyaaltı — can I still join the quad safari?
Yes, and the transfer comes with it. Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off from Konyaaltı is included in the published price, exactly as it is from a Belek or Kadriye hotel, because the included transfer covers the whole coast we serve. Send your hotel name and date on WhatsApp; your pickup time is confirmed after booking, hotel by hotel.
Konyaaltı is at the western end of the coast — where does the safari actually take place?
Not in the city, and not in Belek. The riding area is in the Aspendos area, on the natural land along the Köprüçay river, which is why the round-trip transfer belongs in the price rather than being sold on top of it. We collect you in Konyaaltı, drive you out to the base and bring you back to your hotel afterwards. How long that drive takes depends on where exactly you are staying, so we confirm your own timing with you after booking instead of printing a figure here.
Is the transfer from Konyaaltı free, or is there a supplement?
There is no supplement. The transfer from Konyaaltı is included in the price you see, in both directions, and nothing is added for it at any stage — you pay the quad or buggy price and that is the whole cost of the day. The only hotels we cannot promise are ones beyond that coast list. If you are staying further afield, message us and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
Is a driving licence needed for the quad or the buggy?
No. The route is a private off-road course rather than a public road, which is why no driving licence is required. Drivers must be 16 or over and should carry ID as an age check, and every driver takes a compulsory test ride before the tour starts.
What if I have never driven a quad, or I would rather not drive at all?
That is a normal case, not a problem. The compulsory test ride before the tour decides who drives: whoever completes it takes their own machine, and anyone who does not, or would simply rather not, comes along as a passenger for exactly half the driver price. A buggy passenger sits beside the driver, a quad passenger rides behind.
How much does the tour cost from Konyaaltı?
The tour prices are the same wherever you stay: quad €30 short and €38 long per driver, buggy €35 short and €43 long. Passengers pay half — €15, €19, €17.50 and €21.50 — and that half fare is the only reduction we have, so everyone who takes part is counted, at any age. The round-trip transfer from Konyaaltı is included in those prices, so there is nothing to add for it.
Can children come along on the tour?
They can, as passengers — the wheel is for drivers of 16 and over. There is no separate child price and no age at which someone travels without paying: every passenger pays half the driver fare, so a child in the second seat is €15 or €19 on a quad and €17.50 or €21.50 in a buggy, and the same is true of anyone who comes along mainly to watch. We do not recommend the tour for children under four, because a small child finds it hard to hold on safely; if one comes anyway, the passenger fare applies.
How long does the whole thing take?
Riding is 1.5 to 2 hours on the short tour and 2.5 to 3 hours on the long one. Counting the included transfer both ways, the briefing and the test ride, the programme runs around 4 to 4.5 hours door to door. Exact timings vary with hotel location, which is why we confirm your own schedule with you after booking rather than printing a departure time.
Do I have to pay anything when I book?
No. The reservation is free, no card is taken online, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, and we answer in English, German, Russian and Polish.
