Riding from Kundu: the short, honest answer
Kundu is the hotel belt east of Lara, on the Antalya side of the coast, and the safari does not happen on your doorstep — it is not meant to. The riding ground sits further east and well inland, in the Aspendos area, on the natural land along the Köprüçay river, the Eurymedon of antiquity: forest tracks, off-road trails and open dirt, none of it in sight of a hotel. That is all the geography we will give you, because nobody has measured a distance or a drive time from Kundu and we are not going to invent one: the honest answer depends on which end of the Kundu strip your resort stands on and on what the coast road is doing that morning.
The pickup is what most people want settled first, so it goes first: round-trip hotel transfer from Kundu is included in the published price. It is the same inclusion guests get in Belek and Kadriye, in Boğazkent, Lara, Antalya, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı, and east along the coast through Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. There is no surcharge for collecting you from Kundu and nothing to negotiate separately. The single thing we will not print is a pickup time, because it depends where your hotel falls in the morning run; that is confirmed with you after you book. If your hotel is not on that coast list, write to us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

What the day looks like from a Kundu resort
Set aside roughly four to four and a half hours door to door. That covers the run out from your hotel, the safety briefing, the compulsory test ride, the riding itself, a break out on the route and the journey back. The exact clock depends on where your hotel falls in the pickup run, which is why the only times printed below are area averages, never a departure time for your own hotel.
Out at the Aspendos end, the route puts shallow river crossings, forest tracks and open off-road terrain into one loop on the land beside the Köprüçay, at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. It is dusty by design, and there is mud when conditions allow, which is the weather's decision, not ours, so we never promise it. Somewhere out on the route there is a stop where you can buy a drink or a snack, paid for there and not part of the price. Afterwards you ride back to base and the same vehicle takes you home to Kundu.
Pickup times from Kundu: two sessions a day
We run two departures a day and Kundu is on both of them. On average we collect from hotels in Kundu at around 08:45 for the morning session and around 13:45 for the afternoon one. Those figures are averages rather than a promise to the minute — the vehicle works its way along the coast, so traffic and the length of the run move everybody's time a little.
Your own time is confirmed after you book, once we know which hotel to come to. If you are choosing between the two: the morning session has you back for a late lunch, and the afternoon one leaves the whole morning free for the beach.
The two machines and all four prices
There are two products, each bookable short or long, and that is the entire catalogue. A quad is a single-seat machine you sit astride, with room for a passenger behind you. A buggy is a two-seater with a roll cage, where both people sit side by side and one of them steers. The route is the same on either machine.
The passenger rule is the simplest part of our pricing. Whoever rides along pays exactly half of what the driver pays for that machine and that length, with no child fare, no family bundle and no second-person surcharge. That half fare is the only reduction there is: nobody rides free, not a child and not a companion who only comes to watch, so count every person coming out of the hotel with you. One passenger travels with each driver, because both machines seat a driver and one other person. Two of you from a Kundu hotel: three ways to ride
If there are two of you, the question is always the same: one machine or two? There is no package to decode and no couple discount to hunt for: two seats are simply added together, and the arithmetic below is the whole answer.
If you both want to drive, take a quad each. That is €60 for the short tour and €76 for the long one, and you each get your own handlebars inside the guided group. If one of you would rather hold on than steer, one quad with a passenger behind costs €45 short and €57 long. And if the point of the day is to do it together rather than in single file, the two-seater buggy is the only format where you are genuinely beside each other: €52.50 short and €64.50 long. Two people can also take a buggy each and drive separately, at €70 or €86.

Who can drive, and the test ride that decides it
You do not need a driving licence for this, and the reason matters as much as the fact: our route is a private off-road course, not a public road, so it is not driven or judged the way road traffic is. Drivers must be 16 or over and should carry ID, which is an age check and nothing more.
Every driver takes a compulsory test ride before the tour starts, after the safety briefing, on the machine they would be driving and in front of the guides. It exists so that whoever takes a quad into a river crossing has already shown they can control it. Whoever passes drives. Whoever does not pass, or simply decides on the spot that they would rather not, rides along as a passenger at half price, and that is a normal outcome rather than a wasted booking.
There is no lower age limit on the passenger seat, only a judgement to make: children under 4 are not recommended, because a small child can find it hard to hold on safely over this terrain, and a child who does come pays the passenger fare like everyone else. The safari is also not recommended if you are pregnant or have back or neck trouble, because the terrain is genuinely uneven.

Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off is part of the published price here, with no surcharge, which is why the only thing we need from you in advance is your hotel name: it tells us where you sit in the morning pickup run, and we confirm your time once you have booked. Not in the price, and what to wear
Bought on site, so there are no surprises: protective goggles, sold at the base as an optional extra with no published price; photo and video; the drinks and snacks at the rest stop; tips for the guide and crew; and the supplement if you ask to have a machine to yourself. There is no meal on this tour. We would rather write that plainly than let an all-inclusive habit assume one.
Dress for dust rather than for the pool deck. Old or comfortable clothes you genuinely do not mind ruining, and proper closed shoes, because flip-flops and hotel slippers do not belong on the pegs or the pedals. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a change of clothes for afterwards, especially after a wet spell. The helmet comes from us; goggles are the one piece of kit you pick up at the base.

The reservation is free. No card is taken online, nothing is charged in advance, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour. Free cancellation stands until 24 hours before departure, so a booking made from a sun lounger stays low-risk while you watch the forecast.
