Who books this from a Manavgat base
Manavgat is a working river town rather than a resort strip, and the people who ride with us from here tend to arrange it themselves rather than through a hotel desk. That changes the questions rather than the tour: what it costs all in, how long it eats out of the day, how you get to a course that is not on your doorstep, and who in the party is actually allowed to drive. This page answers those in that order.
It works best if you want half a day out, not a full-day excursion. Drivers must be 16 or over, so a sixteen-year-old drives a machine of their own instead of sitting behind a parent. Anyone who would rather not drive rides along at half the driver's price and still comes on the whole tour. There is no age floor on the passenger seat, and no free seat either: a passenger pays the half fare at any age. The buggy carries its passenger beside the driver, which a younger child finds easier than sitting behind a quad rider, and children under four are not recommended at all — a small child can find it hard to hold on safely for the length of the ride. It is not the right trip for anyone who is pregnant or who has back or neck trouble — the ground is rough on purpose.
What it costs from Manavgat, and how a family adds up
There is no Manavgat price and no coastal surcharge. You pay the same four figures as a guest staying next to the base, and the transfer to and from your hotel is already inside them.
We do not run a children's rate and we carry nobody for nothing, which makes the arithmetic short. Whoever takes the wheel pays the driver price; whoever rides along pays half of it, at any age. Two parents each driving a quad on the short tour, with a ten-year-old riding behind one of them, comes to €30 plus €30 plus €15 — €75 for the three of you. Put a second child on the other quad and it is €90, because a family of four is counted as four. A couple sharing one buggy on the long tour is €43 plus €21.50, so €64.50. Each machine carries a driver plus one passenger, and no more.
Those totals are the whole cost of the tour: the machine and its fuel, the guide, the safety equipment, the insurance, the round-trip transfer from your hotel and the programme itself. Nothing is added for coming to get you. What is not inside them is the short extras list further down — the goggles sold at the base, drinks at the rest stop, photos, tips — and none of it is compulsory.
Two machines, two ride lengths, four numbers:
- Quad, short tour (1.5–2 hours riding) — €30 per driver
- Quad, long tour (2.5–3 hours riding) — €38 per driver
- Buggy, short tour (1.5–2 hours riding) — €35 per driver
- Buggy, long tour (2.5–3 hours riding) — €43 per driver
- Passenger riding along instead of driving — exactly half: €15, €19, €17.50 and €21.50 in the same order
- Everyone who comes along is counted and paid for — no free seats and no child rate

How long you are away, and which session to take
Door to door the programme runs roughly four to four and a half hours. That covers the drive out, the briefing, the test ride, the riding, the rest stop and the drive back, and exact timings shift with where your hotel sits and how the day's transfer run is loaded.
The two lengths differ only in saddle time: one and a half to two hours on the short tour, two and a half to three on the long one. The extra hour is precisely what the higher price buys — everything around it is identical, which is why the long tour does not turn a half day into a full one.
We run two sessions a day, a morning one and an afternoon one, and Manavgat guests can take either. Whichever you pick, the other half of the day stays yours. What we will not do is tell you here what time the vehicle reaches your door; the next section explains why we would rather leave that gap open than fill it with a guess.
Pickup from Manavgat: included in the price, timed by a person
Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off from Manavgat is included in the price. So it is from Side, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot, and westwards from Boğazkent, Belek, Kadriye, Kundu, Lara, Antalya, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı. There is no transfer surcharge for any of those places and no distance-based pricing to argue over.
Now the part most pages skip. We publish average pickup times only for the six areas where an average is actually recorded — Konyaaltı, Lara, Kundu, Kadriye, Belek and Boğazkent. Manavgat is not one of them, so no time appears on this page. Your own is confirmed to you after you book, once we know which hotel we are coming to. We publish no distances anywhere on this site, and the only drive time we publish is the measured run out from the Belek area, because nothing else has been measured, and we never name a hotel as a guaranteed pickup point.

What the Aspendos course is actually like
The riding happens on our own private off-road course in the Aspendos area, on the natural land around the Köprüçay river in the Taurus foothills, and the machines never leave it. From Manavgat that means travelling west with the group rather than setting off from your street — which is exactly why the transfer sits inside the price instead of being bolted onto it afterwards.
One local mix-up worth clearing up: the river on our course is the Köprüçay in the Aspendos area, not the Manavgat river, and this is not a tour of the waterfall or the town. Our route is its own thing — river sections, dusty forest tracks under the pines, open terrain, and mud when the ground holds enough water. Dust is certain. Mud is not, and nor is how much water sits in the river sections — we will not promise either, because both depend on the conditions of the day.
The running order at the base is the same for everyone: guide, safety briefing, helmet, the compulsory test ride, then out onto the course with a rest stop partway where drinks and snacks are on sale. After that the ride back in and the transfer home. A quad (ATV) and a buggy cover the same ground; the difference is what you sit in and who sits next to you.
No driving licence, but a test ride you have to pass
No driving licence is required, and the reason is the whole of it: the route is a private off-road course, not a public road, so it is not judged like road driving. Drivers must be 16 or over and should carry ID — that is an age check, not a licence check.
Before the tour moves off, every driver rides a compulsory test lap at the base. It is not a formality and not everyone gets through it. Whoever completes it drives their own machine; whoever does not, or simply decides they would rather not, rides along at half price and stays with the group for the entire tour. Nobody gets talked onto a machine they are uneasy on, and nobody loses their place either way.
The safety kit comes with the price rather than being sold to you at the door: a helmet for every rider, the briefing before you start, an experienced guide with the group, and liability insurance for the activity. The one piece we do not include is goggles — those are sold at the base, and we would rather write that here than let you discover it there.

Extras, clothes and the things worth knowing first
The excluded list is short and worth two minutes. Protective goggles are an optional extra sold at the base; we do not publish a figure because the price is set there. Photo and video services cost extra. Drinks and snacks at the rest stop are paid for on the spot, and no meal is included. Tips are yours to judge. If you want a quad entirely to yourself rather than sharing it with a passenger, a single-quad supplement can apply — we do not publish the amount, so ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
Preparation is simple, and the only common mistake is footwear.
- Old or comfortable clothes — dust is guaranteed, mud and water depend on the day
- Closed shoes only; flip-flops and sandals do not work on these machines
- Sunglasses, sunscreen and a change of clothes for the way back
- Goggles are on sale at the base if you want more eye protection than the dust mask alone
- Not recommended if you are pregnant or have back or neck problems

Booking it from Manavgat
Booking on this site creates a real reservation with no card and no deposit. Nothing is charged online, nothing is held against a card, and you pay in euros at the base on the tour day. What it is not is an instant confirmation: your booking reaches us as pending, and a person then confirms it back to you together with the pickup arrangement for your hotel. That human step is the reason we can give you a confirmed time at all, given that Manavgat has no recorded average.
