Where the course sits: the foothills at Aspendos
Belek itself reads as a resort strip — golf, big hotels, a beach. The ground a quad actually needs starts once you leave it and head inland, into countryside and forest at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. That is where our course is: a private off-road course in the Aspendos area, by the Köprüçay, in open country rather than on any public road. It is close enough to the coast that the whole thing fits inside a half day, and far enough from it that the surface under your wheels has nothing in common with the boulevard outside your hotel.
Foothills is the accurate word and we use it on purpose. Plenty of copy along this coast sells “the Taurus Mountains” as though every tour crossed a pass; ours does not. We ride at the foot of the range. You will find no altitude figure, no summit, no panorama and no named village anywhere on this site, because none of that has been measured or recorded for this course — and for the same reason we never publish a distance or a drive time between two places. Strike all of it out and what remains is still a real off-road course within a half day of a Belek hotel, described below in the only terms we can stand behind.
What the ground is actually like: river, forest, dust and open terrain
The route puts three things in one place: a river, forest and open terrain. You cross shallow river sections, follow dusty forest tracks and get stretches of rolling off-road ground where the machine can properly run. It is meant to be an active off-road experience rather than a tidy drive along a graded road, so the machine moves under you and the ground is uneven by design.
Two things vary and we would rather say so before you book than after. How much water sits in the river sections, and how much mud the tracks are holding, depends on recent conditions — on some days people come back plastered, on others mostly dusty. Dust itself is the certainty: this is dry countryside, which is exactly why, and why old clothes and closed shoes are the standing advice rather than a formality.
- Shallow river sections — how much water is in them, and how wet you get, depends on conditions
- Dusty forest tracks, with dust in the air for most of the ride
- Rolling open off-road terrain where you can let the machine run a little
- Muddy sections when the ground holds enough water — real, but never guaranteed
- Natural countryside at the foot of the Taurus range, not a mountain crossing
- A private course, so you are not sharing the ground with road traffic
Who this terrain suits, and who should think twice
No previous experience is needed, because the compulsory test ride at the base settles who drives before anyone reaches the course. That makes this ground workable for a complete beginner, for a couple sharing one machine, for a family where a sixteen-year-old wants to drive for the first time, and for a group of friends who want something out of the hotel and back before dinner. Anyone who does not pass the test ride, or simply decides they would rather watch the terrain go past than steer through it, rides along as a passenger at half the driver price.
There are people this course does not suit, and it is fairer to say it here. It is not recommended for pregnant guests, or for anyone with back or neck problems, precisely because the ground is rough on purpose. Children under four are not recommended either, and the reason is the ground itself: on terrain this uneven a small child can find it hard to hold on safely, and the buggy, where the second person sits beside the driver rather than behind, does not change that. Nobody comes along for nothing, either. Everyone who gets on the transfer and onto the course is a paying participant — driver or passenger, adult or child, including a guest who only means to watch the dust from the second seat — and the single reduction is the passenger fare, half the driver price, at any age.
What riding this terrain costs
There are two machines and two ride lengths, so four prices. Every figure below is the full tour price: the machine and its fuel, the guide, the helmet, the liability insurance, the round-trip hotel transfer and the programme itself. Nothing is added for the pickup, and there is no child tier and no free tier to work out: whoever takes the wheel pays the driver price, and everyone else who comes — passenger, child, or the person who only wants to see the river sections go past — pays exactly half. A family of four takes up four seats and pays for four.
- Quad, short tour (1.5–2 hours riding) — €30 per driver
- Quad, long tour (2.5–3 hours riding) — €38 per driver
- Buggy, short tour (1.5–2 hours riding) — €35 per driver
- Buggy, long tour (2.5–3 hours riding) — €43 per driver
- Passenger riding along instead of driving — exactly half: €15, €19, €17.50 and €21.50 in the same order
- No free places at any age — every person on the transfer and on the course is counted and paid for
How much of the terrain you actually ride
The short tour is one and a half to two hours of riding. The long tour is two and a half to three. Both sit inside the same programme of roughly four to four and a half hours door to door, because what the higher price buys is time on the machine rather than a longer day out of your hotel.
Which one to take is mostly a question of why you came. If the terrain is the reason — if you want the river sections, the forest tracks and the open ground to last — take the long tour. If you are testing whether off-road riding is for you at all, or you have a passenger who has never sat on a quad, the short tour gives you the same kind of ground in a smaller dose. We do not publish a route length in kilometres for either of them, because it has never been measured, and a number invented for a web page is worth nothing to you at the base.
How the day runs, from your hotel to the course
We run two sessions a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off is included in the price — there is no transfer surcharge to add. The included belt runs along the Antalya coast: Belek, Kadriye, Boğazkent, Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. Average pickup times exist for some of those areas and are published as averages on the hotel pickup page; your own time is confirmed by us after you book, hotel by hotel, rather than guessed at here. If your hotel is somewhere else along this coast, write to us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
The sequence itself is the same for everyone. You are collected from your hotel and driven out to the base. There you meet the guide, hear the safety briefing and are handed a helmet. Then comes the compulsory test ride, which is where it is decided who drives. After that the group heads onto the course — river sections, forest tracks, open ground, dust throughout, mud where the ground has it. There is a rest stop partway, where drinks and snacks are on sale; no meal is included in the price. Then the ride back to the base and the transfer home. Plan on four to four and a half hours door to door, with the exact timing depending on where your hotel sits and on the day's transfer schedule.
Safety on ground that is rough on purpose
Every driver gets a helmet, a full safety briefing before anyone starts an engine, and liability insurance for the activity. A guide rides with the group rather than sending it off alone. None of that turns uneven ground into smooth ground — it is what makes uneven ground sensible.
No driving licence is required, and the reason matters more than the claim: this is a private off-road course, not a public road, so it is not judged like road driving. Drivers must be 16 or over and should carry ID, which is an age check and nothing else. Every driver then takes a compulsory test ride at the base before the tour starts. It is not a formality and not everyone passes it: whoever completes it successfully drives, and whoever does not, or prefers not to, rides along as a half-price passenger and stays with the group for the whole tour.
What to wear for this ground, and what the price covers
Dress for dust first and mud second. Old or comfortable clothes, closed shoes rather than flip-flops or slippers, and a change of clothes waiting for afterwards will cover almost everything this course throws at you. Sunglasses and sunscreen are worth bringing. Protective goggles are sold at the base as an optional extra — they are not included in the price, and we do not publish an amount for them here because that price is set on site.
What the price does include is everything you need in order to ride:
- An experienced guide and the full safety briefing
- Round-trip hotel transfer, included in the price from the coast regions we cover
- The machine itself, fuelled and ready — quad or buggy
- A helmet
- Liability insurance for the activity
- Not included: goggles sold at the base, photo and video service, drinks and snacks at the rest stop, tips, and a single-quad supplement if you want a quad to yourself (amount not published — ask us)
Booking a ride in the Taurus foothills
Booking online creates a real reservation and costs you nothing: no card details are taken, nothing is charged in advance, and you pay in euros on the day at the base. It is not an instant confirmation, and we will not pretend otherwise — your booking arrives with us as pending, and we confirm it, together with your pickup time, once we have matched your hotel to the day's transfer run. The earliest date you can book online is tomorrow; if you want to ride today, write to us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84 instead. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, so an early booking costs you nothing and holds your machine.
There are no reviews, no star ratings and no awards on this site, and there will not be any until they are real. What we can put in front of you is what is on this page: where the course actually is, what the ground is made of, which parts of it depend on conditions, four prices with a half-price passenger rule, the driving rule with its reason, and the transfer included rather than negotiated. Judge the terrain on that, and ask us about anything this page has deliberately left blank.
